AC/DC Power Adapters

TRUMPower is pleased to announce the TMP400 series of medical & ITE grade AC/DC desktop power adapters. Offering high power of 400W, the TMP400 series is an addition to the 220W and 250W power adapters that the company has had on the market. The TMP400 class I units come with an IEC 320/C14 AC inlet and a power switch and power-on indicator. The series offers standard single output models of 18VDC, 24VDC, 28VDC, 36VDC, or 48VDC with continuous output power of up to 400W. Non-standard output voltages can be accommodated upon request. The standard TMP400 models come with an 8-pin Molex mini-fit female connector that comes with a quick latch to secure the output connection.  The TMP400 series is approved by UL, cUL and TUV to the latest 3rd edition EN 60601-1, IEC 60601-1, ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1:2005 and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60601-1:08 medical standards and to the latest 2nd edition IEC/EN/UL 60950-1 ITE standards. The power supply complies with EN60601-1-2 EMI standards including EN55011/FCC/VCCI class B (conducted  and radiated emissions), EN61000-3-2, EN61000-4-2, EN61000-4-3, EN61000-4-5, EN61000-4-11.

The earth leakage current is 300 µA maximum @ 264 VAC, 63 Hz. With efficiency higher than 85%, the units are in compliance with CEC and Energy Star efficiency level V requirements. The power supply carries CE marking and is RoHS compliant as well. The power supply accepts a 90 to 264 VAC universal input with 0.98 active power factor. Withstand voltage is specific at 5600VDC from input to output, 2100VDC from input to ground, and 700VDC from output to ground. The units can operate at 0°C to +60°C ambient temperature and are suited for operating at up to 5,000 meters altitude. The MTBF is higher than 350,000 hours at full load and 25°C ambient per MIL-HDBK-217F. Output protections include short-circuit, over voltage, over current, and over temperature.
