AMRs Get Flexible Upgrades for Load Transferring

Description

ROEQ mobile robotic equipment—a manufacturer of robotic equipment for MiR’s autonomous mobile robots—allows RARUK Automation to team its range of MiR (Mobile Industrial Robot) autonomous mobile robots (AMR) with handling accessories to meet customers’ individual application needs.

Each MiR can be customized with a ROEQ module enabling the AMR to move bins, racks or shelves. RARUK Automation offers a fleet of the flexible and easy-to-program collaborative AMRs from MiR for the transportation of both heavy and light loads that help the industry increase operational efficiency.

The four new top roller modules are the TR125 Manual 250, the TR125 Auto 250, the TR500 Auto, and the TR1000 Auto. Both of the TR125 modules are designed for the MiR250 robot which allows for manual height adjustment. With the TR125 Auto 250, goods can be picked up and dropped off at different heights thanks to its automatic scissor mechanism. The TR500 Auto and TR1000 Auto provide the larger MiR models with a built-in lifting mechanism.

All the roller modules are compatible with GuardCom—ROEQ's wi-fi-free AMR communication system for the transfer of goods between stationary conveyor systems.

Specs

  • Optical sensors to identify the stationary conveyor station, ensuring precise alignment
  • Front payload sensors to ensure the correct receiving of packages from a station
  • Rear payload sensors to ensure optimal placement of a package on the top roller
