Originally designed for rugged duty on military electrical equipment, these boots are sized to mate with all popular toggle, pushbutton, rotary, rocker switches and breakers to prevent ingress of food particles/dust, water(hose downs), moisture seepage of any kind, dirt, and lubricants -- all of which can and do damage and degrade sensitive contacts diminishing control-reliability. Accumulation of powder, dust and ice are also prevented from building up within the actuator’s operating surface which can cause actuator freeze-up. Made with high-performance silicone rubber, these boots perform reliably in temperatures from -80°F to +400°F and can easily handle external pressures to 1,500psi.
