Voith’s asset and workforce management software OnCare.Asset is now available for the hydropower industry. The app-based software solution enables customers to efficiently track and store their asset and workforce data. The application is backed by Voith’s high expertise resulting from decades of technical experience in the hydropower market and deep domain know-how, including the evaluation and interpretation of technical and digital data.
OnCare.Asset facilitates the maintenance management of hydropower plants – from planning, servicing and documentation through cost control to spare parts management. The service and software solution offers reliable planning and monitoring of key performance indicators and ultimately secures the timely initiation of maintenance activities. The software application was developed by maintenance specialists and offers an easy-to-operate user interface, clear functions and a high usability.
Lack of maintenance data and data transparency can lead to inefficient maintenance processes, extensive administrative efforts and diminishing availability of hydropower plants. The asset and workforce management software from Voith enables customers to collect and process data in a centralized software solution whereby high administrative efforts are avoided, and data transparency is secured. “With OnCare.Asset, customers achieve a high level of system availability while substantially reducing maintenance and operating costs. OnCare.Asset is based on Voith’s IIoT platform OnCumulus. Hence it can easily connect with other applications on the platform, such as OnCare.Acoustic or OnCare.Health Hydro. The digital service and software portfolio from Voith aims to provide hydropower plant operators with intelligent solutions that help them to master the challenges they are facing today. Voith’s IIot platform OnCumulus is based on open-source and highly standardized technologies and provides fast, reliable and secure access to data from local machines and systems in the cloud, as well as fast provisioning for value creation. The platform is scalable, flexible and extensible at any time.
