Automated Transport Vehicle Needs No Lasers, Tape, or Wires

Automated SmartCaddy uses no lasers, tape, or wires to deliver carts, pallets, and wheeled equipment. The vision-guided vehicle features “WalkThroughThen Work” set up. Simply walk along the delivery path using only the joystick control while cameras record the path just traveled. The setup system stores over 6 mi of delivery paths and stores up to 99 different paths. The paths can be in different areas of one facility or can be in different facilities. Other features include “pause-then-go” mode for multi-stop deliveries and obstacle sensors for slow down, stop, and resume. System can expanded from 1 to 50 vehicles. The unit can be used for automatic transport or as regular-powered equipment.
