BioFit Names Rusty Benschoter National Sales & Marketing Manager

Bowling Green, OH, May 15, 2009 – BioFit Engineered Products, an Ohio-based manufacturer and long-standing leader in the development of ergonomic seating solutions worldwide, announced today that Rusty Benschoter has been elevated to the position of National Sales and Marketing Manager. In this role, Mr. Benschoter will lead BioFit’s U.S. and Canadian sales initiatives – including the reinvigoration of present markets and cultivation of new industry channels for the company’s task-specific and multipurpose product offerings.
Mr. Benschoter came to BioFit in 2005 from the Eaton Corporation, where he was a regional sales manager. Since joining BioFit, he has served as the Central U.S. and Eastern Canada Regional Sales Supervisor, heading sales in a territory encompassing a number Midwestern and southern states as well as the provinces of Ontario and Quebec. Over the past four years, he has been instrumental in the successful launch of several new products and the explosive growth of the company’s folding mobile table division.

Mr. Benschoter replaces the semi-retiring Max Church as BioFit’s national sales manager. With over 35-years experience in the seating industry, Mr. Church has been with BioFit since its establishment in 1993, and for nearly 20 years with two other seating companies. In serving as national sales manager for the past 16 years, Mr. Church has played an integral role in shepherding the one-time furniture startup to its current form as a 100+ employee, $20-million globally recognized specialty seating provider. He will remain on staff part-time, assisting with Mr. Benschoter’s transition, participating in sales calls on an ad hoc basis, and overseeing lead qualification and state contract sales.
