BST & BSP Sub-Miniature, Process Sealed Toggle and Pushbutton Switches

CIT RELAY & SWITCH announces the availability of the BST and BSP Series toggle and pushbutton switch series, providing design engineers very versatile, multiple function toggle and momentary pushbutton switches for use in a variety of applications. Both offer a wide variety of termination options. The BST toggle is available with numerous actuator lengths and optional gold contacts. The BSP pushbutton features a snap-in mounting option. Both series offer an electrical rating of 3A at 120VDC or 28VDC. Electrical life for both is 30,000 cycles; contact resistance is less than 20mW initially at 2~4VDC, 100mA and insulation resistance is greater than 1000MW initially. Dielectric strength is 1000V rms minimum. All materials in the BST toggle and BSP pushbutton are RoHS compliant and CUL recognized. The BSP actuator is thermoplastic polyester; housing is 6/6 nylon, glass filled, flame retardant, heat stabilized, UL94V-0. The option support bracket is tin-lead plated brass. The BST actuator is chrome plated brass; housing is 4/6 nylon, glass filled, flame retardant, heat stabilized, UL94V-0. The option support bracket is tin plated brass. Contacts and terminals are gold or silver plated copper alloy.
