Maple Grove, Minnesota – CIT RELAY & SWITCH introduces the SH Series miniature illuminated momentary switch which features single or bi-colored LED options and a wide variety of cap and actuator colors. The SH Series is a high quality, versatile switch offering a variety of non-illuminated and illuminated package styles to fit nearly any design requirement; it’s the next generation utility switch. Accordingly, the SH Series features over 25 different cap / actuator options and a 3.3mm square post for custom actuator designs. The series offers pre-engraved off the shelf process symbols including lighted “on-off” and “arrow” directional symbols. A 12mm flat actuator combined with a short 0.5mm travel is ideal for use under laminated panels.

The SH Series is RoHS compliant. High temperature versions are available where ambient process temperatures may exceed 100°C. The positive tactile feedback is accompanied by long life at 100,000 cycles and handles currents to 50mA @ 35VDC; contact resistance is less than 50M. Standard actuation gram force is 130 ± -50gf.

The switch is suitable for a variety of digital applications as an input, reset and on/off switch in audio products, electronic games, appliance, instrumentation, video and other applications requiring subminiature switching.
