Compact Converters for PV Systems

Specifically designed to meet the needs of large scale photovoltaic systems, the MPV1560RI4 series is a family of 15W DC/DC converters that feature an ultra-wide 100 to 1,000 VDC input, 4 kV isolation, compliance to EN 62109, compact packaging, and are available configured for chassis or DIN rail mounting.

Three models provide outputs of 12, 15 or 24 VDC. High performance features include 4,000 VAC isolation, tight line and load regulation, and high efficiency. All models meet the requirements of EN 62109 (including units on adapter boards) and are protected for over voltage, over current and short circuit faults. The MPV1560RI4 MTBF is greater than 300K hours (per MIL HDBK 217F).

All MPV1560RI4 models are packaged in a compact 2.75 x 1.89 x 0.92 in., encapsulated case. Each model is specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of -40° to 70°C ambient. Cooling is by free-air convection. All models are available on chassis mount or DIN rail mount adapters.

The series provides the high-performance features, compact size, rugged packaging, high reliability and economy required for commercial/industrial grade photovoltaic applications.
