Screw clamp terminal blocks have a larger electrical contact area, the lowest contact resistance, the highest pull out force, and the ability to handle multiple wires and larger wire ranges. Factory studies have indicated that nuisance electrical downtime is traced back to nothing more than loose or intermittent connections caused by insufficient clamping forces and metal bodies not protected from corrosion.
