CORE Performance Work Wear

Description

Ergodyne today introduces CORE Performance Work Wear, a new line of protective apparel designed specifically for the skilled tradesperson. The multi-layered system is built on advanced materials and treatments, which help workers manage moisture, increase their visibility, control temperature, reduce ultraviolet exposure and impede bacterial growth. Together, these features enhance job safety, performance, and comfort. CORE is the only personal protective apparel line designed solely for workers and sold exclusively through authorized distributors. “With all the sweat, grit, and muscle they put into their work every day, skilled trades people are really the ‘occupational athletes’ of the construction, industrial and safety world,” said Tom Votel, president and CEO of Ergodyne. “It makes sense that they’re demanding better, more technically advanced personal protective clothing to optimize safety and performance in their arena: the jobsite. We’ve responded by developing CORE Performance Work Wear specifically for them.” The wicking features in CORE move moisture away from the body, helping the clothing dry faster, better regulating body temperature, and making workers more comfortable and safe on the job. CORE’s lightweight stretch fabric, multi-panel design, raglan sleeves, flat seam construction, and tagless labels eliminate binding and allow for complete range of movement. Special microbial-resistant materials prevent the build-up of odor-causing bacteria, while relaxed fit models deliver a UPV rating of 30+ for protection against harmful ultraviolet exposure. 3MÔScotchlite reflective zones on CORE apparel’s sleeve, collar, chest, and back make workers more conspicuous at night, while the long tail (“say no to crack”) prevents them from unwittingly showing too much skin. Finally, a soil-release treatment helps make sure stains aren’t forever. “Just as gloves, protective eyewear, and other PPE products have been transformed over the past decade, becoming more specialized, fashionable, and increasingly made from higher-quality, higher tech materials, personal protective apparel is now following suit,” said Votel. “Workers are telling us it’s no longer acceptable to work in a cotton T-shirt that stays damp and uncomfortable all day. And employers are learning that workers who are more comfortable in any weather condition are more focused and productive.” The CORE Performance Work Wear line is comprised of three layers: base, mid and outer. Within the base layer, workers have the option of a short or long sleeved shirt, black or gray, and both in a body hugging ripped fit. Black ripped-fit bottoms with a comfortable woven waistband are also available. The CORE mid-layer series includes short and long-sleeved shirts in both ripped and relaxed fit styles, and available in black, gray, and gray with lime. For colder seasons, workers can get CORE base layer and mid layer shirts in long sleeved thermal versions. Mid-layer thermal options include Mock T or long sleeved zipper T in gray or black. CORE Performance Work Wear is available in sizes Medium through 3XL.
