Colonial Seal Company, a manufacturer and distributor of rotary shaft seals, v-seals, oil seals and hydraulic seals also has the capability to produce, in three to five working days, metal-cased seals from 2.0 " to over 68.0 " in a variety of styles and materials. These are very robust, uniquely manufactured seals capable of pressures greater than 25 bar and are available in PTFE, NBR, Viton, Silicone, and Leather in single lip, double lip, triple lip, designs with or without springs. External and Leaf Spring Retainer style seals are also available. These custom seals are ideally suited for prototyping, or for replacing obsolete, small quantity seals. There are no minimum quantities, and there are no tooling charges. Over the years the company has replaced many CR, National, or Garlock seals that are either no longer in production, or have a high minimum order quantities, or significant long lead times for delivery.
