D100EHI Series


Stoughton, MA (October 6, 2006) MicroPower Direct, is pleased to announce the availability of the D100EHI series a miniature series of 1W SIP converters. Their unique combination of ultra-miniature packaging, very high input/output isolation and low cost make them an ideal choice for a wide variety of space critical applications. Features include 6,000 VDC isolation, high efficiency and single & dual outputs. All models in the series meet RoHS requirements. As part of MPD's "Budget Saver" series of products, they are offered at very low prices.

Sixteen models operate from 5 VDC and 12 VDC inputs, providing outputs of 5, 9, 12, 15, ±5, ±9, ±12, or ±15 VDC. Standard features include an input/output isolation of 6,000 VDC, an internal filter, efficiency as high as 81% and low noise operation. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the D100EHI series is greater than 3.5 Mhours.

All models of the D100EHI family are packaged in an ultra-miniature 7-Pin SIP package. The pin-out is industry standard. Each model is specified for operation over the wide industrial operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C ambient with no derating or heat sinking required. Cooling is by free-air convection.

The D100EHI series is an ideal solution for a variety of board level power applications requiring 1W of output power, very high isolation levels, miniature package size and low component cost. Applications would include industrial process systems, medical equipment & instrumentation, data processing equipment, robotic systems and board level power distribution subsystems.
