P 540 Double Cut Shears offer superior maneuverability, flexibility, and speed for making smooth, burr-free cuts in cold rolled (C.R.) mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum with the double-cutting action of the P-540 Double-Cut Shears. The Double-Cut Shears’ pistol grip, 2200 RPM pneumatic motor runs on a 90 PSI power source, delivering time-saving cutting speeds of 180 inches per minute.

Kett’s P-540 shears are capable of cutting up to 14 gauge C.R. mild steel, most grades of stainless steel to 20 gauge and aluminum to .090 inches thick. The variable speed trigger lets the user make smooth, easy starting cuts even in most grades of stainless up to 16 gauge. At only 10 ½ inches long and weighing just four pounds, the pneumatic shears deliver a powerful and precise cut in a compact and portable design. All shear heads are precision made in the U.S. featuring A2 tool steel blades for prolonged durability.
