Encapsulated Ball Valves

SSP announces the EB Series Encapsulated Ball Valves, the newest addition to the FloLok® valve line.  SSP’s EB Series ball valves offer important improvements for the most popular valve design used in analytical instrumentation and other medium pressure applications. “We are very excited with this announcement because the new EB Series ball valves offer a tremendous opportunity for our customers to have a choice in the instrumentation components they need to do their jobs”, commented Mr. Reed Stith, Director of Marketing.

“SSP’s new EB Series ball valves offer more opportunity and choice for our instrumentation customers, allowing them to do their job more efficiently and safely,” commented Reed Stith, Director of Marketing. This one-piece instrumentation ball valve incorporates industry first features like a blowout proof stem design which prevents accidental disassembly for improved safety.  In addition, the forged 316 Stainless Steel construction increases the structural integrity of the body and the one-piece packing (available in all sizes with a patent pending design) encapsulates the trunnion-style ball eliminating dead space to maximize purgeability for clean and accurate samples.   Additionally, the drop-in fit design allows for easy replacement of the Swagelok®* 40 Series valves.
