ENCODER READY DC MOTORS WITH PLANETARY GEARBOXES
Description
Nidec Copal announces a new RoHS compatible DC motor with planetary gearbox (HG16 series). The 0.63” OD (16mm) DC motor has 2 axial lengths of 1.42” (36mm) and 1.57” (40mm) that develop rated gear motor torques of 3.47oz-in@310rpm (HG 16-030), 4.86 oz-in@175rpm (HG 16-060), and 6.94 oz-in@85rpm, 55rpm (HG 16-120 and HG 16-240).
6 volt (-AA), 12 volt (-AB), and 24 volt (-AC) windings are available with each gear ratio to match a wide range of application needs. The 0.63” OD by 0.63” long planetary gearboxes are integrated with the DC motor to create a gear motor package. A 30:1 gear ratio is used with the HG 16-030 model, a 60:1 gear ratio with the HG 16-060 model and 120:1 and 240:1 gear ratios with the HG 16-120 and HG 16-240 models, respectively.
A total of 12 models are available depending on the input voltages and gearbox ratios. Nidec-Copal can supply all models with a 0.060” OD (1.5mm) rear shaft for encoders.
