Fabshield 21B Self-Shielded Flux-Cored Wire

To ease post-weld cleanup and increase portability, Fabshield 21B self-shielded flux-cored wire provides excellent performance on fillet and lap welds on galvanized or mild steels measuring up to 3/4-in. thick. It also works well on lightly primed steels.

Fabshield 21B wire increases operator convenience and welding portability since it requires no external shielding gas. The wire produces a smooth spray-like transfer that produces low spatter levels with excellent bead appearances in all welding positions and can be used with a variety of power sources and using DCEN. Fabshield 21B is offered in .045, 1/16, .068, 5/64, and 3/32-in. diameters on 10 or 33-lb. spools. For higher volume applications, Hobart Brothers also offers the 1/16-in. diameter Fabshield 21B wire in 50-lb. coils.
