Description
The new Hartzell Fan Fiberglass Upblast and Downblast Dome Roof Exhausters were released in September 2006 in an 18” version (12, 15, 24, 30, 36, and 40” sizes to follow). These fiberglass centrifugal exhausters feature our unique, one-piece fiberglass FA wheel and provide a low profile roof exhaust solution in a corrosive environment. In addition, all airstream hardware is 304 SS. They are available in both direct and belt drive in single phase or three phase and in full or narrow width. Accessories are also available.
Why fiberglass? Fiberglass equipment is corrosion resistant and weighs 50% less than comparable equipment made of carbon steel. It also has an extremely high strength-to-weight ratio and is stronger than steel on a per pound basis.
