Softer improved noise protection. Howard Leight FirmFit earplugs are reported to feature a softer, more comfortable fit and improved noise protection than classic-style foam earplugs. Noise attenuation is 30 NRR dB. The earplugs are suited for individuals who prefer a firmer fit in order to “feel” the earplugs in their ears and who are accustomed to the familiar cylindrical or barrel-shaped earplug. Due to 29% lower expansion pressure, there is less pressure in the ear canal. The earplugs are easy to roll down and insert, and come in bright orange for high-visibility. Corded and uncorded versions are available.
