FLEXMASTER Safety Renovation Treads
Description
FLEXMASTER Safety Renovation Treads create an anti-slip surface for interior and exterior stair renovations, retrofits, safety upgrades, and more. The extruded aluminum base is covered with Flex-Tred anti-slip tape; this provides a high coefficient of friction, whether wet or dry. The tape is chemically bonded onto the extrusion with an adhesive matrix capable of 7.3 pounds per square in peel strength. This creates a safer environment with reduced risk of slips and falls.
The easily applied and corrosion-resistant treads are available in lengths to 12 ft (3.7 m) and with a variety of tread depths. There are various colors available, including fluorescent colors and NITEGLOW Glow in the Dark; all colors extend uniformly throughout the abrasive surface. Abrasive surfaces are level with extrusion surfaces.
