Providing expanded team coverage with Mesh Intercom technology, the Tufftalk M headset offers integrated hearing protection to safeguard plant employees from damaging noise. Full-duplex technology improves productivity by enabling hands-free, natural communication across multiple teams. High-definition audio eliminates hand signals and mask removal.
Tufftalk M features two different Mesh modes: Open Mesh and Group Mesh. With Open Mesh, a near-unlimited number of users can connect to each other within an effective range of 1.1 km (0.7 mi). For private sessions, Group Mesh supports up to 24 participants. Tufftalk M also features 4-way Bluetooth intercom in order to connect to Sena's Bluetooth-equipped devices.
Tufftalk M headsets have a noise reduction rating of 26 dB. They are available in over-the-head and hard hat versions (24 dB).
