M12 Heated TOUGHSHELL Jackets

Description

Powered by M12 REDLITHIUM Battery technology, the M12 Heated TOUGHSHELL Jackets use carbon fiber heating elements to create and distribute heat to the chest, back, and front pockets. The addition of the Quick-Heat function helps deliver heat 3x faster than before, fully heating up the jacket in 2.5 min.

Built to survive the elements both on and off the job site, these jackets use TOUGHSHELL Stretch Polyester for a longer life than other soft-shell jackets, with improved wind/water resistance. To ensure better heat retention, the sleeves feature increased insulation. In addition, FREEFLEX Mobility Gussets help users maneuver more easily.

The jackets feature 3 heat settings, up to 8 hr of run-time, and machine-washable construction. Each jacket includes an M12 Compact Charger and Portable Power Source for ideal on-the-go charging via micro-USB in wall outlets, vehicles or computers.

MIght be good for short term usage, but the feet and hands get cold faster than the trunk of the body. Batteries run down too quickly for longer term usage, and we find that insulated bibs along with a good jacket and layered clothing work best.
