HN Series Hydro Cyclones
Description
Designed to separate sand and other solids from surface or ground water, the HN Series Hydro Cyclones are constructed of abrasion-resistant solid plastic that will not rust or corrode. Operating without external power, the series separates solids from water using centrifugal force. Solids settle into the attached bleed tank, which may be flushed using the supplied ball valve. Hydro Cyclones are ideal for use in the pre-filtration of pond, river or well water. Applications include prefiltration on membrane water treatment systems.
The HN Series is offered in three sizes: 1 in., 2 in., and 3 in. The 1 in. cone is made of glass filled polyamide (PAG), while the 2 in. and 3 in. cones are made of glass filled polypropylene (PPG). Connection is easy with male threaded or Victaulic style grooved pipe ends.
