Insulated Multiple Tap Connector

FCI has expanded its Insulated Multiple Tap Connector (UNITAP™) line, making it a one-stop-shop for all connector needs. The black BURNDY™ UNITAP is a black, UV-rated PVC covered aluminum connector designed to supplement the company’s exisiting clear-colored UNITAP offering, a line of pre-insulated connectors forline splice, reducer and tap applications. Available in single-sided, double-sided, splice and mountable versions, the black UNITAP is ideally suited for the contractor, maintenance, and repair markets. The black BURNDY™ UNITAP line is covered in black Plasitol, eliminating the need for taping during installation, providing chemical resistance and protection from abrasion. They are dual rated for copper and aluminum applications, with multiple configurations that accommodate a variety of applications. All UNITAP products are pre-filled with PENETROX™ oxide inhibitor, and are contaminant-free due to solid end caps. FCI BURNDY™ UNITAP products are dual rated for copper and aluminum applications, with multiple configurations that accommodate a number of uses. The black UNITAP is UL Listed up to 600 MCM and CSA Certified for applications up to 600 volts and 90 degrees Celsius.
