MD2000 Automated Reefer Door
Description
Ensuring a constant temperature and humidity barrier for reefer interiors, the MD2000 automated reefer door for refrigerated trucks and trailers assists in streamlining the food delivery process. It opens and closes quickly and electronically senses the presence of workers and cargo passing through.
Providing optimized temperature control, food chain security, and significant fuel savings, the door also reduces worker frustration and promotes FSMA best practices. It features a tight seal to protect from the outside environment, and the remote fob or interior-mounted button opens and closes the door.
The flexible door has a soft bottom edge, a clear window panel, and retracts if it encounters any resistance.
The LED light strip mounted on both sides of the door frame enhance safety by remaining on when the door is closed, turning off when the door is open, and flashing to signal when it is preparing to close.
It comes with its own plug-and-play modular wiring harness kit; all cables and connectors remain accessible at the point of use for easy service and maintenance. Doors can be installed on the face of a reefer’s interior wall by OEMs or retrofit on existing trailers. The closing cycles can also be custom programmed.
