Description
Two new publications detailing the extensive array of tooling solutions for milling and turning needs: a 16-page CNC-Milling brochure, and an 8-page Lathe-Turning brochure are available from Walter. The information needed to make intelligent, productive tooling decisions is presented in a quick, concise and easy-to-read format.
The CNC-Milling brochure provides the latest information on Walter’s live turning. Provided are details which highlight features and benefits of each product line so that a clear decision can be made on which product fits the desired application. For example, choosing which indexable milling line is best suited whether it be the versatile M4000 milling cutter line, the robust Walter BLAXX milling cutters; or Walter’s universal Xtra·tec milling family. All of these can be utilized with Tiger·tec Silver and Tiger·tec Gold inserts.
Walter’s comprehensive lineup of solid tools is also featured. The complete range of Supreme, Advance and Perform product lines is explained and highlighted for drilling, threading and solid milling. Which tools are best for high-production demands, which tools offer the best price-to-performance ratio and which tools are designed to simply be a cost- effective option. Indexable and replaceable point drills are also showcased.
A broad overview of turning, grooving and thread turning tools from Walter is showcased in the 8-page Lathe-Turning brochure. The brochure highlights several of the latest technologies from Walter such as: Precision cooling turning holders in combination with precision coolant guided insert geometries, select high temperature super alloy machining insert grades (ISO S materials) and the latest in grooving technologies including single-sided (SX), double-sided (GX) and signature four-sided (MX) insert systems. A brief overview of Capto and shank tool and modular systems as well as internal grooving tools is also provided.
