Milling Inserts
Description
Minitang inserts feature tangentially clamped design and four helical 0.315-in. long cutting edges. The small size and tangential orientation yields a larger core diameter than radially oriented inserts and is said to ensure fast metal removal rates in numerous applications. The inserts can be used for machining 90-deg shoulders at high feed rates with no mismatch. Tool diameters range from 0.625 to 1.50 in.
