Natural Gas-operated Diaphragm Pumps

Description

Ideal for fluid handling operations in remote locations where compressed natural gas is an available energy source, these natural-gas powered pumps are optimal for pre-lube start-up and post-lube shut-down processes for large engines that drive gas compression units and power generation units. “Ingersoll Rand / ARO is committed to providing industry-leading reliability and safety to our customers in the oil and gas industry,” Oakley Roberts, global marketing manager at Ingersoll Rand. “Our new CSA-conforming diaphragm pumps include our proven valve and pump technology, an integrated grounding strap, ported exhaust and a robust, leak-tight pump design.” The new pumps feature the same ice- and stall-free design as their air-powered counterparts. The pumps’ major valves generate strong, positive shift signals and effectively manage gas pressure. By utilizing “unbalanced” valves, the CSA-certified pumps create an optimal pressure differential, ensuring that valves do not center and stall the pump, even under low gas inlet pressures. The new diaphragm pumps also feature a bolted, all-metal construction for leak-tight integrity and structural strength, delivering a maximum material flow up to 133 lpm. The pumps are lube-free and come with a five-year warranty.
