PNOZsigma Safety Relays: Big Functionality in a Small Package
Description
PNOZsigma combines narrow housing widths with a wide range of safety functions such as emergency stop, safety gate monitoring, and two-hand control.
The safety relays also feature selectable operating modes and standardized configuration and setup that save engineering time. Housings are as narrow as 0.5 in. (12.5 mm). The relays are designed for maximum speed and flexibility of application across all phases of a project. System engineering and setup are simplified with a single procedure for all products in the PNOZsigma range.
Standardized operator elements, terminal designations, and positions further speed setup, while plug-in terminals and spring-loaded terminal technology cut installation time. One PNOZsigma unit is used for each safety function, but application flexibility is assured by switch-settable reset mode, operating mode, and time functions This allows a single unit type to monitor a variety of safety functions, minimizing unit inventory requirements.
The high switching capability of up to 10A plus rapid diagnostics provides high plant availability, and each unit features 6 LED indicators that provide a uniform display of switch and fault conditions.
PNOZsigma conforms to the latest standards and can be used in conjunction with compatible safety components to form an approved, complete solution.
