The PowerFlex 6000T Medium-Voltage AC Drive accepts up to 13.8 kV primary voltage in a best-in-class footprint that is only 7.5 to 10 ft wide (2 to 3 m). For greater output frequency range, the PowerFlex 6000T variable frequency drive range now goes up to 120 Hz to meet the needs of high-speed industrial applications including turbines, compressors, and pumps.

 

The motor controller also offers the new RealSine solution. The option helps reduce input harmonics to lower levels than the industry standard. Ranging from 3 to 4.16 kV with high voltage input built in. Plus, high-voltage feeds can be directly connected to the drive from the main distribution line without additional step-down transformer or substation equipment, reducing costs.  

 

The design offers up to 30% improvement in total harmonic current distortion at the drive primary side. By reducing harmonic distortion, the VFD improves system efficiency, reduces energy cost, and minimizes power distribution issues on the factory floor.

 

The compact A-Frame design is ideal for new and retrofit industrial applications in IEC markets where industrial space is a premium. The PowerFlex 6000T drive features TotalFORCE technology.
