Rectangular Inductive Proximity and Position Sensor Family

Description

Southington, CT -- March 9, 2006…. Baumer Electric has introduced a new line of small, square and rectangular inductive proximity and position sensors designed for tight spaced robotic, conveyor and material handling applications. Ranging in size from 4 mm square to 20 mm rectangular, these low profile sensors are available in heights from 1/4 to 1/2 inch high.

The rectangular inductive sensors are available in on/off models that detect presence of a ferrous object or variable output models that report precise positioning data. Discrete sensors feature a red LED that indicates whether output is activated. All sensors are available pre-wired with a permanent cable or with removable cables. The rectangular inductive line features operating ranges from 0.8 to 8.0 mm, and resolutions down to 0.001 mm, with switching rates from 0.5 to 5.0 kHz.

These sensors mount quickly and easily to any fixture. The 8 x 4 mm sensor mounts with a single screw and is just 4.7 mm high.

Baumer is a global leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of high quality, precision sensors since 1952 serving a variety of markets including Automation, Graphics, Robotics/Material Handling, Medical, Machine Tool and Specialty Machines.
