RFID Inlay for High Density, Close Proximity Conditions

Description

The AD-332u8 inlay has passed the ARC category H requirements for demanding retail environments. Having launched in 2019 prior to the category H specifications coming into force, this is the first inlay in the market with proven high volume deployments. AD-332u8 offers superior reliability in high density, close proximity conditions.

The Gen2 RAIN RFID (UHF) antenna design provides excellent bulk reading performance when tagged folded garments or other small items (e.g. t-shirts) are stacked on retail store floors or other storage areas, especially where large quantities of goods are located in a very confined space. That makes it particularly suitable for inventory accuracy (item-level tagging) and supply chain management applications.

AD-332u8 inlays are equipped with UCODE 8 chips from NXP, featuring 128-bits of EPC memory and a 96-bit Tag IDentifier (TID) with a 48-bit unique serial number factory-encoded into the TID. The RAIN RFID inlay measures 70 x 14.5 mm being the market’s smallest product that meets ARC category H specifications. It has also passed other application-relevant requirements as defined by the RFID Lab at Auburn University, including the following Specs: F, G, M, N, Q, W1, W2, W3, W4, W5, and W6.
