As a real-time location solution (RTLS), Honeywell Safety Watch drives safety and security and boosts workplace productivity. It gives organizations visibility and actionable information on their workers and assets to support continuous operational improvement in industrial workplaces. It helps muster people more efficiently, monitors restricted area access, and accelerates search and rescue efforts in emergencies.

To do all of this, it uses active wireless tags integrated into employee badges and Honeywell’s OneWireless multi-protocol infrastructure. Keeping workers safe, real-time data and information can be crucial for reducing serious incidents and efficiently responding to incidents that have occurred. Other uses include automatic sign/out, access control, fatigue monitoring, and calculating time on-site.

Enhanced features built to be part of the Industry 4.0 ecosystem include an intuitive user interface, a business rule engine, extended transmission range, higher location accuracy, and a longer tag battery life.
