SEAL Tablet PC Series

Meeting device standards of application fields such as radiology, operating rooms, patient terminals, and medical carts, the SEAL Tablet PC Series is available in screen diagonals of 7 in. and 12 in. (17.8 cm and 30.5 cm). The LCD displays offer a 10-point PCAP multi-touch functionality, with a maximum resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The antibacterial coating on the housing allows for hygienic capturing of inpatient or outpatient data. A hardened casing provides additional drop resistance of up to 2.6 ft (0.8 m) on steel surfaces. In addition, the devices are protected against the ingress of splash water and dust in accordance with the IP54 protection standard.

The hardware features an Intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor and 4GB of LPDDR3 memory. In addition, the SEAL models are equipped with various slots for micro-USB cables or microSD cards and support a wide range of communication protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS or 3G/LTE.  Additional accessories such as a 1D/2D barcode reader, smart card reader or magnetic stripe reader (MSR) can be purchased for simplified data collection. A lithium-polymer battery with a maximum capacity of 12.600mAh ensures sufficient power for everyday work in the healthcare sector.
