A full line of case hardened shaft collars that can withstand repeated high impact loads and maintain position in the face of constant, hard pounding is available from Stafford Manufacturing Corp. of Wilmington, Massachusetts.
Stafford Hardened Shaft Collars are machined from steel in one- and two-piece clamp-type styles and case hardened 0.032” deep to Rc 45 to provide extra wear resistance. Designed to withstand repeated high impact loads without distortion, they are suitable for use as switch actuators and stops.
Available in 1/2” to 1” (and metric) bore sizes, Stafford Hardened Shaft Collars can be supplied with smooth or threaded bores. Applications include heavy trucking and construction equipment, bulk processing and shredding machinery, conveyors, mixers, and related equipment.
