Stainless Steel Ratchet Arm

Description

The new Model 101 stainless steel ratchet arm from Lowell Corporation is designed to make machinery adjustment faster, easier, and safer in workplaces where equipment is exposed to harsh conditions. Lowell's new device features a stainless steel non-replaceable gear, stainless handle plates and ratchet components, and a plastic spacer, all factory pre-assembled. A bolt-thru opening in the head makes it easy to mount the Model 101 on any shaft length.

The construction is well-suited to applications in wet and corrosive environments such as pulp and paper, food, and chemical processing, and in a variety of outdoor applications such as aggregate conveyor belts. The Model 101 is 7-3/4" long, 1-9/16" wide, 19/32" thick, and weighs 12 oz. There are 16 gear teeth which provide 22.5º of rotation between clicks. Torque limit is 80 lb-ft. Priced under $55, it is sold by distributors. Designed for permanent mounting on shafts or studs, the Model 101 can perform many adjustments including cross feed, rise and fall, gib and quill, positioning screw, or clamping.
