Steel PlugFast Pipe Plugs and Stoppers
Description
The Pipestoppers range of PlugFast Peripheral Sealing Plugs is designed and manufactured for heavy-duty applications such as immersion in chemicals and/or exposure to high temperatures. The plugs are manufactured in a number of different diameters, including sizes not covered by the Pipestoppers range of Aluminium Plugs from 18 to 48 in. Ø (457 to 1,219 mm)
They are manufactured as a single port series and a double port option. The single and double steel plugs are available with sealing rings made from Viton, silicone, neoprene, nitrile or natural rubbers for resistance to different temperatures and chemicals.

- The center stem is 2 in. (50 mm Ø) and is threaded to accept a 2-in. BSP screw cap
- The second port is normally fitted with a 4-in. (100 mm) plain bore and supplied complete with a 4-in. (100 mm) steel drain test plug
- The second port is normally offset to the outer edge of the Peripheral Sealing Plug, allowing the water to be easily drained from the pipeline after testing
