Superabrasive Turning Center

MAX-TEK, LLC has introduced the MAX-TEK STC-300 Superabrasive Turning Center with an automated loading system. It features a cam operated high-speed part load/unloader, hydraulic part holding and tailstock for heavy stock removal of difficult interrupted cut components, such as sprockets up to 6” in diameter. The machine’s high-tensile-strength Meehanite base provides superior rigidity and vibration damping needed for accurate, high speed abrasive machining. Ergonomic design assures that the grinding wheel is easily accessible enabling safe, simple wheel changes. The linear guide ways have no contact with grinding swarf, which drops to the bottom of the machine for transfer to the sump. Specifications include: ? Max. Swing: 12.0” ? X-Axis Travel: 13.9” ?
