Description
The line of LVITs (Linear Variable Inductive Transducer) has expanded and now includes three series which each target different applications: Automation, Industrial, and Extreme Duty.
LVITs are contactless devices that are designed for factory automation and a variety of heavy-duty industrial or commercial applications. These applications could be robotic arm position feedback, packaging equipment, wind turbine prop pitch and brakes, snow plow positioning, etc. the LVITs are ideal for industrial and OEM positions sensing applications.
Specs
All LVITs Have the Following Features:
- Contactless operation prevents wear out from dither or cycling
- Ranges from 25 to 450 mm (1 to 18 inches)
- Radial cable exit version comes with swivel rod eye ends
- Four Analog outputs
- Axial termination versions with either M-12 connector or 1m cable
- ASG's proprietary SenSet™ field scalability
LR-19- Automation Duty
The LR-19 has a ¾-in. OD aluminum body and is offered in ranges up to 200mm. The LR-19 is ideal for OEM and factory automation applications where small size and low cost are a premium.
LR-27 and LRL-27- Industrial Duty
The LR-27 and LRL-27 series are more robust than the LR-19 and is offered in both a 1-in. OD aluminum or stainless steel housing. The LR-27 is also for industrial OEM and factory automation applications where the application or environment is too extreme for the LR-19.
LV-45- Extreme Duty
The LV-45 series units were designed to survive the most extreme environments being installed on bridges, train tracks, and off road vehicles for construction and agriculture.
