Ultra-miniature, 2W Single Output, SMT DC/DC Converters

Now available from MicroPower Direct, the LF200S series is a family of 2W DC/DC converters in an ultra-miniature SMT case. These converters provide a unique combination of power, performance, miniature SMT packaging and low cost. Six models operate from 5 VDC, 12 VDC and 24 VDC inputs, providing single outputs of 5, or 12 VDC. Standard features include efficiency as high as 82%, an input/output isolation of 1,000 VDC, and low noise operation. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the LF200S series is greater than 2.0 Mhours. All models are RoHS compliant. The LF200S family is packaged in an ultra-miniature, SMT case. The pin-out is industry standard. Operation for all models is specified for operation over the wide operating industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with no derating or heat sinking required. Cooling is by free-air convection. The LF200S series is an ideal choice for space critical power conversion applications requiring low component cost, reliable field operation and ultra-miniature packaging. Applications would include data acquisition subsystems, data processing equipment, battery powered or battery backed equipment, industrial control equipment, and board level power distribution subsystems.
