Vacuum Potting System
Description
The system provides wide process flexibility with multi-pass pouring at different vacuum levels and shot sizes. The automated system is operator independent with the exception of loading components. Sensors detect the proper location of components within the chamber to prevent dispensing into voids. Shot size, vacuum levels, multi-pass pouring, are controlled by the PLC.
To ensure complete and rapid wet out of the parts the chamber is heated to maintain elevated material temperature. The system may be integrated into the Ashby Cross meter, mix systems or retrofit to existing dispensing equipment. In addition to the automated system, a manual version is also available.
