Commutrol™ Series Brushless DC Drive

Dart’s Commutrol Series of brushless DC (BLDC) drives offers a standard, off-the-shelf design with the features and capacity needed to address most BLDC drive requirements seen today in the market.  For twenty-five years these products have evolved and improved with customer feedback gained from an ever increasing application set. 

The Commutrol Series is offered in a variety of voltage, current and packaging options to serve the OEM designer’s application needs through 1HP.  Both line voltage and NEMA 4/4X enclosed models are offered along with more traditional low voltage chassis models.

BLDC drives offer inherent benefits such a quiet operation, elimination of motor brush maintenance, and electrical commutation of the motor (closed-loop regulation; motor reversing and dynamic brake are built in to the drive).

Used primarily in the medical, food, pharmaceutical and energy equipment markets, Dart Commutrol Series drives are finding new applications in other segments as well.
