SNAPConnect Receptacles for Fast, Easy, Reliable Installation
Description
Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems has introduced SNAPConnect™, a new electrical receptacle system that is so fast and easy to install that it saves more than three minutes total installation time per device, compared to a conventionally wired duplex. Because SNAPConnect allows consistent, reliable installation every time, project deadlines can be more easily met, increasing productivity.
The key to the Hubbell system is the pre-wired SNAPConnect terminal that is installed at rough-in. The system’s pre-stripped leads eliminate the need to make pigtails. After its protective packaging is removed, the terminal is simply snapped into the back of the receptacle; mounting screws are then tightened down and a wallplate is added to complete trim-out. SNAPConnect duplex receptacles are available in Hospital and Specification Grade.
