Apex 2 Back-Assist Exosuit

The Apex 2 back-assist exosuit leverages the power of science with a focus on comfort, resulting in better protection and wearability. The suit weighs less than 3 lb. and can remove 75 lb. of strain off of a worker’s back with every lift.

Designed to comfortably provide assistance for men and women who frequently perform demanding movements such as lifting and sustained or repeated bending, the exosuit reduces the risk of back injury without restricting their freedom of movement. 

The modular design fits a broader range of people comfortably while decreasing heat retention so it can be worn in different environments. Elastic bands stretch as your muscles extend during movements, then recoil as your muscles contract, returning energy and assisting with every bending motion. The bands move with the user and reduce forces on the spinal muscles and discs each time the wearer bends forward or squats down.

Its abrasion-resistant fabrics, engineering-grade polymers, and aircraft-grade aluminum allow the suit to hold up to rigorous situations and hard work. Donning and doffing are fast and intuitive; the patent-pending switch makes it easy for users to activate assistance when they need it and deactivate it when they don’t.
