Description
The Boss Buddy labeling system supports sand cast foundries with embossed labels for cast-in impressions that stand out. Custom labels can be created onsite, on-demand, and can be used for date codes, heat numbers, job identification, and other identification needed for traceability. The Boss Buddy mounts to the base of a spring-loaded impact press and allows for the feeding of foil tape over a chase arrangement and exits through rollers. Choices of character size and tape widths support a wide range of labeling requirements.

It allows for the feeding of foil tape over a chase arrangement that includes steel type and exits through rollers. Choices of character size and tape widths support a wide range of labeling requirements. Type character sizes range from 1/8 to 3/4-in. high and suited to specific type chases that quickly interchanged.
The foil tape used to create the embossed labels is available in 13/32, 5/8, and 7/8-in. wide rolls. It is easily applied to both flat and curved surfaces. After use in the sand molding process, it can be removed quickly and easily.
