Description
The Cable Mapper Pro (CM-100) allows a user to map up to eight COAX or network cables for up to 1,000 ft (304.8 m) simultaneously. It also features a tone generator to make it easier to locate cables in wiring closets or patch panels. The tool is ideal for use on cables for CATV, network installations, satellite installations, telephone systems, audio-video equipment, CCTV, and security and alarm installations.
The CM-100 tests network and telephone cables using RJ11 or RJ45 connectors for shorts and faulty wire connections. It comes with a backlit LCD screen that clearly maps out connections and describes the faults in the wiring. The rugged rubber housing protects the device from accidental drops.
