EIS Battery Analyzer Model BA8100

Description

Capable of accurately measuring the internal impedance of a battery at a user-defined frequency, the battery analyzer model BA8100 can perform EIS (Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy), a swept frequency technique for evaluating batteries. The data acquired can be evaluated through Nyquist and Bode plots to determine effective series resistance and track battery health.

Additional measurements include voltage, current, phase, capacitance, inductance, and quality factor. The analyzer includes a self-test fixture to verify the instrument’s performance and compensate for the resistance introduced by the test leads. The model also provides LAN, USB, and RS232 interfaces for PC connectivity.
