Protector Series Light Curtain Mirrors
Description
The Protector Series Light Curtain Mirrors enable safety professionals to guard multiple sides of a work cell using only one emitter/receiver pair. The mirrors eliminate the need to use more than one safety light curtain by reflecting the sensing field from the emitter around the perimeter’s corners to the receiver.
Simple to mount on a standard protective column, the mirrors are available in several sizes ranging from 18.7 to 74.8 in. (47.5 to 190 cm) to fit virtually any safeguarding requirement. A large reflector surface maximizes the infrared beam for efficient multi-sided detection of persons or other larger objects when they intrude into a protected area. Compared to traditional mechanical barriers, sliding gates, and pull-back restraints, this solution offers greater flexibility in design and simplifies the machine's setup, maintenance, and repair.
Because they are rated IP65/IP67, the mirrors offer protection from low-pressure water jets and more substantial liquid ingress or immersion, making them ideal for industries subject to frequent wash downs or water spray.
