The SPLC 1000 (AXC F XT SPLC 1000) is a left-alignable, safety-oriented control for operating PROFIsafe devices. The SPLC 1000 is connected to the AXC F 2152 or AXC F 3152 modular controllers from the PLCnext Control series. It can be configured as a PROFISAFE F-Host or F-Device, allowing for support and control of up to 32 PROFIsafe devices. The AXC F XT SPLC1000 can implement safety control up to SIL 3.
The AXC F XT SPLC1000 is part of the PLCnext left-alignable extension module family of products. These modules extend the functionality of PLCnext by connecting modules to PLCnext via the PCIe bus. This allows third-party companies to innovate and add their own technology to the PLCnext Ecosystem.
Other modules in the left-alignable family include: The AXC F XT ETH 1TX extension module provides the functionality of an Ethernet interface. Having its own MAC address means that networks can be implemented so that they are physically completely separate from each other. One of several advantages of the AXC F XT IB module is that it allows for the continued use of existing systems in INTERBUS-based applications. The AXC F XT PB module is a PROFIBUS master, which exchanges data with up to 125 PROFIBUS participants, both cyclically (DP V0) and acyclically (DP V1).
