Stainless Steel Electrodes for Industrial Applications

Fort Loramie, OH – Select-Arc, Inc. has introduced three gas-shielded, flux cored, stainless steel electrodes specially designed for welding in demanding industrial environments.
SelectAlloy 308H-AP, SelectAlloy 309LMo-AP and SelectAlloy 347-AP provide superb performance characteristics in all positions and feature flat, well washed beads that can be achieved with minimal weaving. All three wires deliver very low spatter and excellent slag peeling to minimize cleanup and enhance productivity.
SelectAlloy 308H-AP is well suited to handle the welding of components for the petrochemical industry. It also may be used to weld 304H and 347H stainless steels.
SelectAlloy 309LMo-AP is utilized for welding pulp and paper, chemical processing and food and beverage equipment as well as dissimilar metal welding. SelectAlloy 347-AP finds application in the welding of high pressure steam piping parts, pressure vessels, chemical tanks and automotive parts as well as 321, 347 and 348 stainless steels.
